Bought these because my partner said I needed ‘one nice pair of black pants.’ Turns out, she was right. I’ve worn them to work, brunch, and a surprise karaoke night. They’re somehow both comfortable and classy. Also, the pockets don’t gape open like sad fish mouths. A small miracle.

Finally, skinny jeans that don’t make me feel like I’m in a denim straightjacket. The waistband actually stays put, even when I bend over to grab my dog’s poop bag (a frequent motion in my life). 10/10 would recommend for looking put-together while doing very un-sexy adulting.

I’m 5’2" and these hit the perfect length with heels. The fabric stretches but doesn’t sag by 3 PM—rare for skinny pants. Plus, they survived my toddler’s impromptu jungle gym session. If that’s not a five-star test, I don’t know what is.
